Supplying clean, correctly prepared artwork helps us quote accurately and produce your sign without avoidable delays.
Vector artwork is best for cut letters, logos and large-format signage.
Raster images should be supplied at an appropriate resolution for their final printed size.
Monitors display colour in RGB, but print production works in CMYK — and the two do not always match. Artwork supplied in RGB is converted before printing, which can shift colours noticeably, especially vivid greens, blues and oranges. Supplying CMYK artwork from the start means what you approve is what gets produced.
Screen colour also varies with monitor calibration, so a design that looks right on your screen may not match the physical output. For brand-critical colours, provide Pantone (PMS) references or a physical sample to match against, and request a hard proof before full production. We manually verify and proof artwork files as part of our workflow.
Images saved from websites are usually 72 dpi and unsuitable for large-format signage — they become blurry and pixelated when enlarged. They may also be subject to copyright. Always supply original, high-resolution files, and remember that responsibility for the right to use supplied artwork rests with the client.
If a file is too large for email, include a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link with your enquiry. Our team will confirm receipt before relying on the file for production.
